Christmas in The City - Reflection

I just want to put it out there today, as it was a eye opening experience for me.
A note to all photographers, because I was guilty of this today and in retrospect, I should have dug deeper into the subject.
It's a learning experience for me, and I want to share this so no one finds themselves in this position.

Don't make the error of just going to a location that is yes, open to the public, but owned by someone.
I went to an AMAZING Christmas Tree Farm called "Dogwood Christmas Tree Farm" in Fort Langley.
I was there last year for my own christmas pictures, and was recommended by local organizations and other local photographers in various cities, who have just 'gone' and taken pictures.
I was wrong to think that was ok, based on the recommendations of others and my own personal experience.

Check with the organizations/owners first!
I made that boo-boo today, and I should have followed up more thoroughly to make sure it was in fact, ok.

That being said, by NO MEANS am I discouraging anyone from going there - I ENCOURAGE IT!
The Tree Farm is AMAZING and is run by some amazing people who work hard day in and day out.
Let's remember to respect their belongings and their GORGEOUS decorations.
Yes, they may be great to use as our backdrops... but we shouldn't use n abuse that privilege either.

I want to thank DOGWO0D CHRISTMAS TREE FARM for today - and I have the utmost respect for what you do.

Please check them out!
